Early Literacy and Early Childhood Webinars

Webinar technology and offerings have improved leaps and bounds in recent years. More frequently, webinars speak to a range of fields, or positions within a field.  In terms of early literacy and early childhood, this is a good thing.  The Growing Wisconsin Readers initiative encourages collaboration with child care providers and early childhood educators.

Early Childhood Investigations offers free webinars that are of interest to youth services librarians. Webinars are sponsored; you can learn more about how Early Childhood Investigations operates by visiting their website or signing up for email updates.

Two upcoming webinars from Early Childhood Investigations touch on topics addressed at the recent Growing Wisconsin Readers Early Literacy Symposium--the power of play and the role of screen time.
