LSTA Early Literacy Grant Opportunity

Are you considering applying for a LSTA early literacy grant?  This is the final year that applications are available in this special category that complements the Growing Wisconsin Readers initiative. 

The Spooner Public Library is currently implementing two new projects as part of a 2014 NWLS system-wide LSTA early literacy grant. What is your dream early literacy project?  Apply today and make it happen!

Public libraries and/or public library systems are eligible applicants. Public libraries and public library systems can submit collaborative grants with other public libraries and/or systems. One library/system must serve as primary grant administrator. 

The 2015 LSTA application is open and more information about the application process can be found on the LSTA web page.  The application form can be used for practice; applications are only official when you click “submit application” on page 15 of the form.  Online grant applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on September 8, 2014; a signed certification form must be postmarked by September 8th or signed, scanned and emailed by the same time and date to Terrie Howe.
